Color and Line Harmony on Patterned Jersey Sleeves

Using a sleeve pattern with the same intensity as the dynamic body pattern can overwhelm every area of the jersey. First, view the sleeves in a solid color. Then, evaluate how much detail is needed by adding a small line or color field.

If you prefer the sleeves to be a different color, compare the effect on the front and back views. Include any additional text or logos on the sleeves in your trial as well. A pattern that looks good on a blank template may not maintain the same balance when information is added.
