How to Design a Jersey Back?
Define the name and number area without filling most of the jersey back with the pattern. When this information is added, a significant part of the pattern may be covered. Establish the layout first using a real player example.
Continuing the pattern around the number or limiting it to the upper section are two separate options. Compare both on the same draft. Do not base your decision solely on a short name and narrow numbers so that the layout does not break when player information changes.
