Split Jersey Models

Split jersey models use two or more distinct color areas on the body. Designs split down the middle and asymmetrical pieces carry different characters. Since the team crest may be on one piece and the sponsor text may span across two colors, each print must be evaluated separately.

If text that is distinct on one color area disappears on the other, a contour or a different placement can be considered. The back does not necessarily have to be split; a simpler back can make the number stand out. Once it is clarified which color will continue on the collar and sleeve cuffs, the design will look more consistent. Instead of repeating the sections for the shorts, a single main color can also be chosen.
