Long-Sleeve Base Layer

A long-sleeved base layer is an under-layer option that covers both the torso and the arms. When worn under a jersey, sleeve length and cuff fit become important. Long sleeves do not automatically mean the fabric is thick or offers protection against cold weather.

Sleeve and Shoulder Fit

Check the position of the cuff when your arms are extended forward and whether the shoulder seam pulls. Sleeves that are too long can cause bunching at the wrist. If you are going to wear a watch or wristband, consider how comfortable it feels with the cuff.

Base Layer Sizing

You can compare the chest circumference, shoulder width, and torso length with a comfortable garment you already own. Do not randomly choose a smaller size for a tighter fit. In a base layer, fabric content and seam placement are just as important as the color. During maintenance, follow the washing and drying instructions specified on the manufacturer's label.
